Day 02 Arrival / Cape Town
|
South Africa
is famous for its sunshine. A subtropical location,
moderated by ocean on three sides of the country and the
altitude of the interior plateau, account for the warm
temperate conditions so typical of South Africa - and so
popular with its foreign visitors. It's a relatively dry
country, with an average annual rainfall of about 464mm.
While the Western Cape gets most of its rainfall in
winter, the rest of the country is generally a
summer-rainfall region. South Africa is a nation of
diversity, with over 47-million people and a variety of
cultures, languages and religious beliefs. South Africa
has 11 official languages, and plenty of unofficial ones
besides. English is the most commonly spoken language in
official and commercial public life - but only the fifth
most spoken home language.
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport your
will be met by a Club Rama Holidays representative who
will escort you to the transfer vehicle. Transfer to

Highlight of this tour include visits to the SA Museum,
Cape Castle and Table Mountain (weather dependant).
One of the world's most picturesque tourist destinations
and most beautiful cities in the world. Cape Town is
situated amidst majestic mountains and is surrounded by
pristine white beaches. Often called the 'cosmopolitan
hub of Africa', it is home to a rich cultural and
historical heritage, vibrant restaurants and nightlife
and a multitude of activities - from extreme sports to
leisurely scenic cruises and world-class shopping.Overnight

well as Chapmans Peak (dependant on the road being open)
– one of the region’s most dramatic mountain drives
offering amazing panoramic views over the city and
environs Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature
Reserve, established in 1939 to protect 7750 ha of
indigenous flora and fauna. The reserve comes to an end
at majestic Cape Point. Situated at the junction of two
of earth's most contrasting water masses - the cold
Benguela current on the West Coast and the warm Agulhas
current on the East Coast, the Cape of Good Hope is
popularly perceived as the meeting point of the Atlantic
and the Indian Oceans. Guests will take the funicular to
the vantage point from where they will be able to

forests, sparkling streams and leafy picnic spots along
the way leading to Robber’s Pass and the Long Tom Pass,
which was named after two enormous 150mm Cruesot field
guns that were dragged up the mountain slopes by Boer
forces during the Anglo-Boer war.
Kruger National Park
One of Africa’s leading attractions, the Kruger National
